The 2021 Inspire Awards recognized the work of WIN Chair Susan Fritz and WIN member Lynn Roper in a program spotlighting women who excel in professional and community life.
Roper was recognized for Excellence in Business in the large business category for her work as first vice president-investments at Merrill Lynch.
Fritz was recognized for Excellence in Education for her work as executive vice president and provost and dean of the graduate college at the University of Nebraska prior to her recent retirement.
The Inspire Awards were presented Sept. 21 by the Lincoln Journal Star in partnership with Union Bank & Trust and other sponsors.
