The 2022 Inspire Awards recognized the work of WIN members Dr. Anne Hubbard and Angie Muhleisen in a program spotlighting women who excel in professional and community life.
Hubbard was recognized as the Omaha Inspire Awards Community Volunteer recipient. Hubbard is a retired physician — a pediatric radiologist — who did clinical care and research for 33 years. She currently runs the Claire M. Hubbard Foundation that focuses on the environment, STEM Education and Indigenous communities.
Muhleisen was recognized as Lincoln Inspire Award’s Woman of the Year for her service to the community. She serves as President and CEO of Union Bank & Trust Company. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Assurity Inc., as chair of the Union Bank Board of Directors.
Both Hubbard and Muhleisen also serve on the University of Nebraska Foundation Board of Directors.
The Omaha Inspire Awards were presented Oct. 26 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
The Lincoln Inspire Awards were presented Sept. 14 at Pinnacle Bank Arena
