On Oct. 9 WIN Member Holly Ostergard of Lincoln was one of three new members elected to the University of Nebraska Foundation Board of Directors.
Ostergard is vice-chairwoman of Crete Carrier Corporation and president of the Acklie Charitable Foundation. She’s a graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Education and Human Sciences and has been a foundation trustee since 1993. She received the foundation’s Perry W. Branch Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service in 2018.
She has been a member of Women Investing in Nebraska since 2013.
Carey Hamilton of Omaha was reelected to serve a second three-year term on the foundation board. She is a past chair of WIN and one of WIN’s founding members. WIN members Anne Hubbard of Omaha and Angie L. Muhleisen of Lincoln also serve on the 16-member board.
Brian Hastings, president and CEO welcomed the new board members.
“We are a better organization because of each of our directors. They care deeply for this organization and are committed to our mission to grow relationships and resources that enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives,” Hastings said.
